Usher Raymond IV who goes by only Usher is a song writer, R&B superstar, and an actor. Usher has won himself 5 Grammy's and has been the star of some hit movies. Usher learned his talent to sing when he joined the church choir. In his junior year of school, he started doing talent shows around his hometown. His family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where his mother thought he would have more opportunities to expand his talent. There he joined the Performing Arts Magnet North Springs High School and did karate as well.
Ushers first album "Usher" was released in 1994. It hit the urban listeners, but didn't get really much attention with only selling 50,000 copies. His singles from the album were "Can You Get Wit It", "Thinking of You", and "The Many Ways". Usher didn't really care for the direction that this album went so he decided it was time for a change.
Usher then went on to release his album "My Way" in 1997. This was going to be the album to get Usher noticed by everyone. His first single "You Make Me Wanna" hit the radio and went straight to number 1 with in 2 weeks of it's release. His second single was "Nice and Slow" which was another top charting hit for Usher. His third single "My Way" was a number 2 chart topper as well.
Usher went on to release another smash hit album called "8701" in 2001. His first two singles from the album "U Got it Bad" and "U Remind Me" both topped the charts and stayed on top for weeks on end. His third single "U Don't Have to Call" was also in the top 5 on the charts as well. This proved to be another smash hit for Usher.
Usher released his third album "Confessions" in 2004 which produced the hits "Yeah" featuring Lil Jon, "Burn", and "Confessions Part II". He also released 2 more songs from the album called "My Boo" with Alicia Keys and "Caught Up". This was yet another smash hit record for Usher. Usher is still going hot and there is no stopping him yet.
