Young Jeezy is an American rapper from the ATL, also known as Atlanta, Georgia. Before becoming a solo artist, Young Jeezy was signed with Bad Boy Records and was with the group Boyz in Da Hood. Then he went on to do his own thing. He signed with Def Jam Records and has his own record label company called Corporate Thugz Entertainment. Young Jeezy has a 10-year-old son, whom he mentions in his music. His relationship with his son's mother is not great, a matter of fact not good at all. Young Jeezy has been known to do some wonderful things. He held a contest in Atlanta for the kids. He had them write an essay about "What Inspires You" and the winner received a $1,000 scholarship.
After having great success with Boyz in Da Hood, Young Jeezy set out to do his own thing in the music industry. He released his first album entitled " Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101" in 2005, which sold over 1.5 million copies. The album went 2 times Platinum worldwide. He then went on and released his next album entitled "The Inspiration" at the end of 2006. This album has sold over 600,000 copies so far, it was just released a little over 2 months ago, and it has already gone gold.
