OneRepublic is an American pop rock band with members Ryan Tedder on lead vocals, guitar, and piano; Zach Filkins on guitar and vocals; Eddie Fisher on drums, Brent Kutzle on bass, cello, and vocals, and Drew Brown on guitar. The band was formed in Colorado and has seen high popularity with large exposure on MySpace.

In the beginning, the band members were Ryan Tedder and his friend Zach Filkins while they were attending high school in Colorado Springs. Since that time, they have now relocated to Los Angeles, California. After this move, they joined with the other members of the group and formed OneRepublic.

They were signed for a short time with Columbia Records but quickly moved to Interscope Records/Mosley Music Group.

Ryan Tedder not only writes for OneRepublic but also has written and produced for many other pop, rock, and R&B stars such as Jennifer Lopez’s song “Do It Well”, co produced and wrote Natasha’s Bedingfield’s song “Love Like This”, and wrote and produced Leona Lewis’ single “Bleeding Love”. He has also worked along side Baby Bash, Tupac, Chris Cornell, and Paul Oakenfold.

OneRepublic has their song “Apologize” featured on a remix form on Timbaland’s “Timbaland Presents: Shock Value”. It is speculated to be released as a single with the bands debut single. The song has been played on Los Angeles KIIS-FM with great reviews.

On August 2, 2007, OneRepublic played their song “Apologize” live on “So You Think You can Dance” on Fox. The song is scheduled to be performed on “One Life to Live” in October of 2007.

Their song "Apologize" is featured in remix form on Timbaland's 2007 release Timbaland Presents: Shock Value. The song is expected to be released as a single in its original form on the band's upcoming debut. As of late August, the song has received heavy airplay on Los Angeles-based KIIS-FM. The band performed "Apologize" live on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" on August 2, 2007.

In October 2007, they will be performing "Apologize" on an episode of “One Life to Live”, along with Timbaland.

OneRepublic has released one album, OneRepublic in 2007 along with three singles all in 2007, which include “Mercy”, “Apology”, and “The Way I Are.”

They have appeared on The Hills season premier, So You Think You Can Dance, Lil Wayne remix, Timbalands “Timbaland Presents Shock Value” all in 2007. In 2006 they appeared on Paul Oakenfold’s “A Lively Mind” with their songs "Switch On", "The Way I Feel" and "Not Over" and in Bones with “Too Easy.”
