saving jane

Marti Dodson (Jane), Pat Buzzard, Dak Goodman, Brandon Hagan, and Jeremy Martin make up the band Saving Jane. These members are all originally from Columbus, Ohio.

Dodson and Buzzard worked with music together before the band started. They started looking for a drummer and found Dak Goodman. They went on to find a bass player and the band was started. They did a few shows, had a few problems between members, had to make a few changes, and ended up getting rid of the bassist. Through the next several months, they had to replace Mike Unger as well because of family problems he was having. Brandon Hagan stepped up for him.

Finally, the debut album was released in October of 2005. The album "Girl Next Door" received major radio play and then they released the single of the same name. After their release, Universal Records signed them and now they are working to get out their next album titled "One Girl Revolution". The single of it will also be released in May 2007.

The "Girl Next Door" went to #31 on Billboard Hot 100. MTV aired the video on Total request Live on April 24, 2006 and it came out at #9. This was followed by the release of "Happy", which never made it onto the charts. The single "Come Down To Me" in August sold 100,000 copies. After this, Universal records let them go and now they are with Toucan Records.

Julia Roberts recorded the single, "Girl Next Door" and it was on her album "Men and Mascara" in 2006. The band has been working hard on their next album and soon you will hear of its release. The band wants to thank everyone who has stuck by them and they promise their fans that their will be a lot more of Saving Jane to come.
