Maurice Richards or otherwise known for his stage name Rich Boy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and now resides in Mobile, Alabama. Rich Boy is signed to Interscope Records.
In 2005, Rich Boy released a promo single "Get to Poppin" to achieve his goal of introducing his music to the public, to become more well known, and grow a larger fan base. His debut album is to be released in March of 2007 entitled "Rich Boy" which is bound to be a big success. Rich Boy has already released his first single from the album called "Throw Some D's" in 2006 and it is getting great feedback from the fans. There is already a remix out of the song as well. For his second single he is releasing a song called "Boy Looka Here" sometime in early 2007.
Rich Boy is going to be hitting the US with a tour with some of today's biggest names such as Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Birdman and Jim Jones. This is bound to help Rich Boy become better known in the US for his great rapping abilities.
