Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on September 14, 1978 was a beautiful country singer named Danielle Peck. She was singing before she was even walking. When she was 10 years old, she had her own imaginary record company she called Danielle Peck records and she wrote her first song for her company. She sang in church and the choir like most up and coming artists. She joined the band called the Neon Blue Band at the age of 16. Her father gave her a present when she turned 18 which was her very own sound and light system. After graduating from high school, she formed her own band and started traveling, playing at festivals, and other events. Her dream had always been in Nashville. She moved to Nashville where she found a job waiting tables while on her songwriting skills. Not long after moving there, she met Clay Myers a publisher.
In 2000, she released her first single from the album, titled "I Don't". On the hot country singles and track chart the song placed at number 28. In 2006, she released her self-titled album, Danielle Peck. This album made it to number 23 on the top country albums chart. Her next single "Findin A Good Man" was number 16. She knew she made it to the big time when she started singing with Miranda Lambert and Kelly Pickler.
She is working on a second album to be released in the late summer of 2007. She has not decided on a title yet. Eight of the 11 songs on the album she wrote herself. Her dream came true when she opened for Toby Keith and sang her hit single, "I Don't". Danielle said when she writes songs it is either from something she has been through or how she felt. That way when she sings them those true feelings come out. She said she loves hearing her songs sung by others, as well.
