
The All American Rejects are made up of the members, Tyson Ritter (vocals and bass), Nick Wheeler (Lead Guitar, Keyboard and backing vocals), Mike Kennerty (Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals) , and Chris Gaylor (Drums, Percussion and Backing Vocals). The band joined up in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The All American Rejects released their debut album in 2002 entitled "The All American Rejects". The first single off the album, "Swing Swing" made the band well known for years. This song stayed on the charts for a few years. Since this song stayed on the charts for a few years, critics were starting to say that The All American Rejects were a one hit wonder. However, more hits were on the way.
In 2005, the band released their second album "Move Along". Their first single "Dirty Little Secret" reached number 9 on the billboard charts. Their second single "Move Along" was released and reached number 15 on the billboard charts. They released their third single off the album entitled "It Ends Tonight" which reached number 8 on the billboard charts.
The All American Rejects have toured the US with some of today's biggest bands such as Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Boys Like Girls, Motion City Soundtrack, and many others. They just finished headlining the "Tournado" tour. The All American Rejects have made themselves well known and proved that they are not a one hit wonder. They proved that they have what it takes to reach the top and stay at the top. The band is planning to take a year off and then hit it hard with more releases.
