Silversun pickups are an American Indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The Silversun Pickups is made up of four members including, Brian Aubert on vocals, and the guitar, Nikki Monninger on the bass, Christopher Guanlao on the drums, and Joe Lester on the keyboards. The Silversun Pickups started playing around LA and started growing a big fan base prior to the release of "Pikul EP". Then they released their full length album Carnavas in 2006. The Silversun Pickups have been chosen to tour with the band Wolfmother in their upcoming US tour. The Silversun Pickups have also been chosen to tour with acts like OK GO as an opening act for Snow Patrol.
Silversun Pickups have performed on the late show with Jay Leno and their song "Lazy Eye" has also been on a episode of the O.C. On the Plug Awards, Silversun Pickups have been nominated for many awards including Song of The Year, Album of The Year, artist of the year, live act of the year, and new artist of the year along with many more nominations.
