On September 4, 1977 in London, Mark Ronson was born. He is known for his song OoH Wee, and the Smiths song, Stop me if you think You've Heard this One Before. Many people say he reminds them of a modern day Jools Holland.

His parents are Ann Dexter-Jones a socialite and writer while his stepfather Mick Jones is a member of Foreigner. His sisters are singer DJ Samantha Ronson and clothing designer Charlotte Ronson. He was around music most of his life since his stepfather was in the band Foreigner. He thought of himself as "bookish musically", because he attended college at Vassar and the New York University. He became a regular at many hip-hop clubs and made a name for himself being a DJ. He performed as a DJ at many celebrity parties and was always wanted by one or another because he was so respected.

He went on to produce and he did Nikka Costa's "Everybody Got their Something". He signed a record deal with Electra records and did his first album titled, "Here Comes the Fuzz'. This was released in 2003 and was a huge success with many different artists featured. He went on to produce albums with Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams just to name a few.

In 2005, he opened his own record label, Allido records with longtime manager, Rich Kleiman. Rhymefest was the first artist to sign with him. Needing a private assistant, he hired on Brian D. Toll.

March 2006 brought him a release of Radioheads single, "Just'. This song got a lot of radio play but overseas instead of in America. He then went on to release, "Version' in the UK on April 16, 2007. this one included many artists like Coldplay, Britney Spears, Ryan Adams, Maximo Parks, the Zutons, and Kasabian.

Ronson has gone onto to release another cover of the Smiths track, "Stop me if you Think You've Heard This before' under the title, "Stop Me' on April 2, 2007 which jumped to #2 in the UK singles chart. This is the biggest hit for Ronson in his whole career. Watch for more from this talented producer, songwriter in the coming future.
