Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques who goes by just his first names Sean Paul. Sean is a reggae and dancehall performer. Sean Paul was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Sean was a deejay for awhile while writing his own music. In 1999, Sean collaborated with rapper DMX for a song that later went to be in the film "Belly". The song was titled "Top Shotter".
In 2000, Sean released his first album entitled "Stage One". This album mainly focused on songs he had previously written. Sean played at Summer Jam 2000 in New York City, which got Sean a wide fan base in the states. In 2001, Sean had an appearance on the song "Money Jane" with rapper Kardinal Offishall.
In 2002, Sean released his album "Dutty Rock". This album sold 6 million copies world wide. This album produced the top charting hits such as "Get Busy" and "Gimmie the Light". He also worked with Beyonce on her song "Baby Boy" and Blu Cantrells song "Breathe". These songs were also big on the charts as well which helped Sean grow even bigger than he was.
In 2005, Sean released his third album entitled "The Trinity". One of the singles from the album "We Be Burning" did awesome on the charts like all his songs have. This album also gave his fans the hit song "Temperature". He released other singles such as "Blazing" and "(When You Gonna) Give It up to me" off the album. This was yet another successful album for Sean Paul.
Sean has also worked with Rihanna on her song "Break It Off" which had Sean noticed even more by the public. Sean Paul opened for Mariah Carey on her Adventures of Mimi Tour in 2006. Sean has won a Grammy and many billboard awards for himself and his music. Sean has appeared on the shows "Punk'd" and "106 & Park" as well. Sean has had a wonderful career and is still going strong. To the delight of his fans, he is in the process of making another album. There is no doubt that it will be another outstanding album.
