New Found Glory is an American Pop Punk and Melodic hardcore band located in California; however, the band was formed in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997. In the beginning, they were known as A New Found Glory.

Members of New Found Glory include Jordan Pundik on vocals, Chad Gilbert on lead guitar, Steve Klein on rhythm guitar, Iam Grushka on bass, and Cyrus Bolooki on drums with Joe Moreno as a former member.

The band was created the middle of 1997 with Jordan, Chad who was once with the hardcore band Shai Hulud, Steve, Ian, and Joe. Joe Moreno, however, was replaced shortly after the debut was released with Cyrus.

Their first release was “It’s All About the Girls” which came in 1997 under Fiddler Records and during the same year “Nothing Gold Can Stay” which was released by Eulogy Recordings.

After the success of these albums, New Found Glory signed with Drive-thru Records and released their self-title album “New Fond Glory”. After this release, the group went on tour to promote blink-182. In 2002, the band released their third studio album by the name of “Sticks and Stones”. A second appearance of New Found Glory was shortly after this release at the Warped tour.

In May of 2004, their album, “Catalyst” was released which debuted at #3 on the Billboard album charts and sold 146,000 albums during the very first week.

On September 19, 2006, their fifth album “Coming Home” was released through Suretone Records. The Japanese release offered three bonus tracks that were not seen in other countries. The album debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold 38, 845 copies. In the United States, 83,123 copies were sold. The single released from this album was “It’s Not Your Fault.”

On September 18, 2007, New Found Glory released “From the Screen to Your Stereo Part II”. The first single released was “Kiss Me” along with a video. A new album is in the process and is expected to be released in the summer of 2008. New Found Glory has released two DVD’s which are “The Story So Far” in 2002 and “This Disaster: Live in London” in 2004.
