Jason Aldean is an American country singer and songwriter that was born February 28, 1977. Jason was raised by his mother mainly in Macon, GA and spent summers with his father in Homestead, Florida. In 2001, Jason Aldean married Jessica who was his high school sweetheart. Their daughter was born on February 14th, 2003 and they named her Keeley.
Jason's parents helped Jason out as much as they could. His father taught him to play the guitar by writing out chords for him to learn and he picked up on playing like no other. Jason played at local places and made a name for himself around his hometowns. Around 2000, Jason was signed with Broken Bow Records after some struggling with other labels.
In 2005, Jason Aldean released his first album "Jason Aldean" which produced 3 hits from the album. His first single "Hicktown" was a popular hit on the radio stations. This single reached all the way to number 10 on the country charts. His second single "Why" was an even bigger hit with it going to number 1 on the country charts. His third single Amarillo Sky" reached number 4 on the country charts. The full album went platinum and reached number 6 on the country charts. Jason Aldean made a name for himself with this album, which also made him very well known.
Now in 2007, Jason has released his album "Relentless". His first single from the album is "Johnny Cash". So far, the single has reached number 22 on the country charts.
Currently, Jason is touring with the big time known group "Rascal Flatts" and is headlining the big Eastern Kentucky University spring concert in Richmond, Kentucky. Jason has worked for everything he is doing and it is looking like it has paid off for him big time. Jason is about to release his next album "Relentless" in which he worked with producer Michael Knox. There is no doubt about it that this album will be another big success for Jason just like his first album was. It is for sure that his fans will be hearing his voice on the radio for years to come.
