His first album was released in 2000 called "Back For The First Time", then re-released as "Incognegro" and went as high as number 4 on the billboard charts. Ludacris became a success with the 2 songs off his first album "What's your Fantasy" and "Southern Hospitality". In 2001, Ludacris released his second album, "Word of Mouf" and was nominated for the song "Roll Out" at the MTV Video Music Awards. Ludacris took a break and came back in 2003 with the single "Act a Fool" for the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack, which he also starred in with actor Paul Walker.
Ludacris has had sold out tickets for his shows, Ringtones made from his songs for cell phones and many hit albums has kept his name a household word. His next albums were "Chicken and Beer", "The Red Light District" and the latest album "Released Therapy". All albums have sold thousands of copies and are still selling to this day. Ludacris has also worked with a large range of artists, so many it's hard to even begin the list.
Ludacris has also been known for his acting as well as rapping. He has been in movies such as The Wash, Hustle and Blow, 2 Fast 2 Furious and has made an appearance in the hit drama show Law and Order: SVU. Ludacris is on fire and will be for a long time to come.
