Duane Steele is a country artist that comes to us from Canada. Duane grew up with music surrounding him. His family had parties where everyone sat around playing instruments and singing songs. One summer Duane and his cousins started a band where they played at things such as weddings. In 1984, Duane started his career by being the front man for a rock band called Rock-N-Horse. In 1991, their album Highways was released. They had 20 singles, enjoyed non-stop touring, and was nominated for Country Band of the Year. With all of this fame, the band broke up in 1993. After this, Duane went on to songwriting and singing. Duane landed a contract with Warner Chapel in Nashville. This helped Duane work with only the best in Nashville.
Duane released his first debut album "P.O. Box 423" which was released in 1996. All of his five singles all reached the top of the charts in Canada. The big hit off the album was "Anita Got Married". A year and a half later, he released his second album "This is the Life". The six singles from the album all reached the top 30 on the Canadian charts. In the case of both albums, Duane released seven music videos on CMT and three of the videos went to number 1.
In 2000, Duane released his third album "I'll be Alright". Seven singles were released on radio and three videos were released to CMT. Then in 2004, Duane released his album "Set List". This best hits album included 17 songs that were released to radio. His latest album "Ghost Town" was released in 2006. Duane assisted in producing the album for the first time. This is his full Canadian album. When Duane is not working on his album or touring, he is out working with other artists on their music. The fans of Duane Steele love his music because they can relate to his lyrics and songwriting. Duane has worked hard all his life for his music and is still going strong. He has made so many hits that have topped charts and the videos have topped the charts on CMT. Duane is still going strong and getting even stronger every day!
