Earl Simmons, better known to his fans as DMX is famous for his rapping and acting skills. DMX is one of today's biggest rappers selling over 23 million albums worldwide and still going strong.

DMX started making his mark with his first album "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot". His first single from the album was "Get at Me Dog" and it became an instant hit.

Then he went on to release his next album "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood" in 1998 and it went to number 1 on the charts. The single "Slippin" was released and became a big hit over in the UK. He then released "...And Then There Was X" in 1999. His first single was "Party Up" which was another big hit since his song "Get at Me Dog". He also released "What's My Name?" and "What these Bicthes Want" which featured Sisqo.

The next album he released was "The Great Depression" which was released in 2001. This album went straight to number one, but from what the critics were saying it wasn't as good as his last three albums. In 2003, DMX released his fifth album "Grand Champ". During this album, he told his fans he was retiring from doing rap and then after taking that break he came back out of retirement and announced plans for his next album "The Year of the Dog…Again". This album was released in 2006, which had two singles released called "Lord Give Me a Sign" and "We in Here".

DMX has been into acting for years, one of his biggest movies was "Cradle to the Grave" where he worked with Jet Li. He also had another big hit movie with "Never Die Alone". He also appeared on the hit TV show South Park as himself.

DMX has been doing it all from rapping to acting and now his own clothing line. DMX clothing line is called DMX authentic and he also has another clothing line called the Earl Simmons Collection. Plus DMX will be releasing his next album "The Dog" in 2007. so, DMX always has something in the works for his fans.
