The Amazing race is a type of game show that takes more than one night to conduct. Teams compete going all the way around the world starting in a United States city and returning back in order to win the prize. Each team must follow clues and instructions in order to make it to the various checkpoints throughout the world. They also have to engage in tasks that represent the culture of the country they are visiting. Some of the task includes detours, roadblocks, yield, and other more difficulties. The teams race with bare necessities and a certain amount of money for their traveling purposes. The airline tickets are paid for by the show. The first team to make it around the world wins.
