Marco Antonio Muniz who is very well known as just Marc Anthony to his fans was born on September 16, 1968. Marc was born in Puerto Rico and is known as a Puerto Rican-American songwriter and singer. In Latin America, he is famous for his salsa music and salsa ballads.

In 2005, it was confirmed that Marc Anthony was married to actress and singer Jennifer Lopez. Marc has three children from previous marriages. He has one daughter and two sons.

Marc put out his first album called “When the Night is Over” in 1991. In 1993, he put out a second album entitled “Otra Nota”. Hits on this album include “Palabras Del Alma”, “Si Tu No Te Fueras”, “El Ultimo Beso”, and “Hasta Que Te Conoci”. In 1995, Marc released a third album called “Todo a Su Tiempo”. This was the second salsa album that Marc released. In 1997, he released another album entitled “Contra al Corriente”. This album won Marc an award for “Best Tropical Album of the Year”. Marc put out two different albums in the year of 1999 entitled “Marc Anthony” and “Desde UN Principio: From the Beginning”.

Marc took a break from recording and did not release another album until 2001 called “Libre”. It hit the charts at number 57 on Billboard. In 2002, he put out an album called “Mended”, which did great by hitting number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2003, Marc released the album “Éxitos Eternos”. This album did not make the charts. In 2004, Marc released two albums, one called “Amar Sin Mentiras” which hit number 26 on the charts. The other album was called “Valió la Pena”, which only went to 122 on the charts. In 2006, Marc released the album “Sigo Siendo Yo (Grandes Éxitos)”. This album contains previously recorded music. It also featured his wife Jennifer Lopez on the album as well.

Marc Anthony is also known for his acting in such movies like “Big Night”, “Bringing out the Dead” and the film “Man on Fire”. So not only is he seen for his singing but also for his acting ability as well.
