Kellie got her start on today's hottest show American Idol. Kellie Pickler finished 6 th on the 5 th season of Idol. Kelly kept singing her way to the top of American Idol until 6 th place where she was voted off. Kelly would not change it for the world. If it were not for Idol, Kellie would still be back home living with her grandfather. After finishing in 6 th place on American Idol, Kellie got a record deal with BNA records and finally got her singing career kicked into high gear.
Kellie released her first album "Small Town Girl" in late 2006. Her album peaked at number 1 on the country billboard chart. Kelly Pickler released her first single "Red High Heels", which is the video for the song; her sister also performed with her on this video. Kellie Pickler received a great response with her first single. Kelly just released her second single "I Wonder" in 2007. Kellie has made many appearances and co-hosted many different talk shows. Kellie has appeared on Larry King Live, The View, Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Grand Ole Opry and many more.
Kellie Pickler has really made a name for herself in the country music world. Kellie will be taking part in Brad Paisley's "Bonfires & Amplifiers" tour.
