She started her career big time when she released her first album in 2002 entitled "Let Go". She released 4 singles from the album. "Complicated", "Sk8ter Boi", "I'm With You" and "Losing Grip" were released form the album and all topped the charts. Avril's Album "Let Go" was one of the year's biggest selling albums for a debut album.
Avril then released her second album "Under My Skin" in 2004. Avril released 5 singles from this album such as "Don't Tell Me", "My Happy Ending", and "Nobody's Home", He Wasn't" and "Fall to Pieces. These singles topped charts here in the US and in other countries as well. After her album "Under My Skin", Avril went touring most of 2005 and worked on her modeling career. She performed at many different shows and award shows.
In 2007, Avril is set to release her next album sometime in April. Her album is entitled "The Best Damn Thing". According to her Myspace site, her first single for release off the album is called "Girlfriend." Avril has also acted in a few different movies including "Over The Hedge" as the voice of Heather.
