Born on October 17, 1958 as Alan Eugene Jackson he has become one of the best selling country music artists today.

Alan Jackson has had some huge hits with, "Don't Rock the Jukebox", "A Lot About Livin", and he really scored when he came out with, "Where Were You", about the September 11 terror attacks. Becoming a number one hit and he went right into the spotlight. He unveiled the song at the 2001 Country Music Awards show.

Alan Jackson married Denise, who was his girlfriend all through high school, on December 15, 1979. They have three daughters, Mattie Denise, Alexandra Jane, and Dani Grace. They moved to Nashville in 1985 and lived in a tiny apartment. Denise met Glen Campbell in an airport where she worked as a flight attendant. She told him about her husband, he gave her his card, and told her to have him call him at his publishing company. Alan contacted Glen Campbell, which began his career as a songwriter for Campbell's company.

After 18 albums and 70 singles, Alan Jackson has become a household name. Alan's wife has written a book titled, "It's all about Him: Finding the Love of My Life", A book about their life. In her book, you will read about the entire love story and their dreams as well as the struggles and their almost failed marriage. The book comes with a CD that has two songs he wrote just for his wife's book.

Alan Jackson is also donating many household and garage items to a huge yard sale to benefit Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes 6th Annual Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show this Saturday, April 21. here is a taste of what Alan is donating "four custom 1966 Cadillac wire wheels with tires, a Hummer H-2 roof rack, four aluminum wheels with tires from an Aston Martin, a Harley Davidson windshield, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, motorcycle helmets, and a bevy of parts for Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Land Rover, and more." These proceeds will fund many different projects for children including field trips.

He continues to wow the country music scene with another new hit titled, "A Woman's Love." Alan is also up for 10 awards at the 2007 Country Music awards this year.
