Eve Jihan Jeffers who simply goes by Eve is an American female rapper and one of the best ones around. Not only is she an American rapper, but she has the talent of an actress and as a song writer. She has her hit TV show "Eve" that she stars in as a fashion designer. The show ran for three seasons before it was cancelled in 2006.
Eve released her first album in 1999 called "Let There Be Eve... Ruff Ryder' First Lady". This album has gone double platnium and has sold 1.8 million copies. The first single off the album was "What Ya Want", which featured Nokio of the group Dru Hill. The second single from the album was "Gotta Man", which made it to number 10 on the R&B charts. The final single from the album was "Love is Blind", which featured R&B singer Faith Evans.
In 2001, Eve released her album "Scorpion", which was number 4 on the charts and has been certified platnium. The first single off the album was "Who's That Girl". The second single became a big hit called "Let me Blow Your Mind", which featured the famous Gwen Stefani which went number 2 on the billboard charts.
In 2002, Eve went on to release her album "Eve-Olution", which is certified gold. The first single from the album was "Gangsta Loving" featuring Alicia Keys. The second single was "What", which featured Truth Hurts. The final single for the album was "Satisfaction."
Her current album, released in 2007 is "Here I Am". The first single already released is "Tambourine", which featured Swiss Beatz. The second single will be "Give it to me", which features rapper Sean Paul. With her music career and her acting skills, rapper Eve has made a mark on everyone and she is nowhere close to stopping. This is one female rapper and actress that will be around for many years to come.
