Hannah Montanna is a children’s television series, which is a comedy/drama. It premiered on March 24, 2006 and since that time has aired 41 episodes. It is seen on the Disney Channel with executive producer Steven Peterman and Michael Poryes. Hannah Montanna is now in its second season. The opening theme song is The Best of Both Worlds written by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, produced by Gerrard, and performed by Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana).
The storyline is centered on Miley Stewart portrayed by Miley Cyrus who is living a double life. At school and at home, the majority of the time, she is your every day teenager; however, she is also the famous pop singer, Hannah Montanna. Miley is a 14 year old girl living in Malibu, California with her father and brother. The fun never ends as Miley tries to hide the truth from everyone at school and above all else the public. She does have a couple of close friends that learned the truth. Each episode deals with personal conflicts, life, or problems that are seen in the life of normal teenagers, which are easy to solve. A lesson is always found before the end of the show.
