This Christian music artist and pastor was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on July 30, 1971. He was the youngest of three children and his parents divorced when he was a toddler. His mother eventually remarried, however, this started years of abuse, and his stepfather hated that his mom played music. This brought him and his mother closer. This marriage dissolved and she remarried again when he was 15. This marriage took them to California.

He has loved music from an early age and his grandfather gave him a drum set when he was one and then he received a mandolin when he was five. He was a pro at learning both and he soon traveled with his mother on cruise ships playing for them.

He started a band when he was twelve that he named “Lincoln and the Missing Links”. His mother was on bass and vocals. When he was a teenager, he moved with his family to California where he received a recording contract by the time he was nineteen. He had what he called a “hollow feeling” and thought he would attend church with his high school sweetheart, Laura. This is where God called him. This is where he let God into his life and he has had a peaceful feeling and lost the hollow feeling. Soon after he and Laura were married. They moved to Modesto, California where they started to attend Calvary Temple Church. While attending the church he was offered the job of music director and youth leader.

In 1997, they moved to Nashville to serve a youth pastors at Oasis Church. Here he met the executives from Integrity Inc. They listened to a demo and were impressed, but more so, when they learned he played all the instruments on the demo and did all the vocals himself. He signed with them and released five albums. These were, “Lincoln Brewster” in 1999, “Live to Worship” in 2000, “Amazed” in 2002, “All to You…Live” in 2005 and “Let the Praises Ring” in 2006.

Steven Perry the lead singer of Journey has called and even asked him to audition as lead guitarist for his next solo project, “For the Love of Strange Medicine”. Lincoln accepted.
