All Time low is a pop punk band formed in 2003 in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland by Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat, who named the band after the lyrics of a New Found Glory's song "Head On Collision".
With the addition of Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson, All Time Low began touring the East Coast during school breaks and then promoting their four-song EP "The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End" released in 2004 on Emerald Moon, a local records label.
All Time Low's actual lineup consists of Alex Gaskarth (vocals & guitar), Jack Barakat (guitar& background vocals), Zack Merrick (bass & background vocals), and Rian Dawson (drums)
During 2005, All Time Low performed with bands such as The Early November, Acceptance, and Gym Class Heroes while releasing a second album, "The Party Scene" for Emerald Records before they were hooked up by Hopeless Records on March 2006.
That year, All Time Low's members graduated from high school and went on the Warped Tour, which opened the 2006 HFStival, released a new EP, "Put Up Or Shut Up", and hit the road alongside Amber Pacific.
In 2007, the Alternative Press magazine's annual survey found All Time Low as one of the "Bands You Need to Know in '07". The band returned to the studio in April 2007 to record their following album, "So Wrong, It's Right", produced by Matt Squire, and released in September on Hopeless Records.
Apart from the official album releases, All Time Low has been included in a number of compilations such as "Hopelessly Devoted To You Vol. 6", "Who Said All Punk Sounds The Same? Vol. 3", "Punk Goes Acoustic 2", "Take Action! Vol. 6", "2006 Warped Tour Compilation", "Another Hopeless Summer", and "A Tribute to Blink 182".
All Time Low has also performed legendary live covers including "Dammit" (blink-182 cover), "Gold Digger" (Kanye West cover), and "Teenage Dirtbag" (Wheatus cover), just to name a few.
The band has been awarded after winning four of the Warped Tour Energizer Encore Contests, consisting of extra minutes of playing time during the tour. All Time Low won this opportunity in Boston MA, Sacramento CA, Barrie (Ontario), and Washington, DC.
