Joe Nichols is an American country singer and songwriter who have made a name for himself in the country music world. Joe's father and grandfather were both country artists, as well, but not as well known as Joe has become. Joe was born in Rodgers, Arkansas and is signed to record label Neotraditional South. Joe Nichols sang for Anna Nicole Smiths funeral singing two songs called "Wings of a Dove" and "I'll Wait for You."
Joe Nichols released his first album called "Joe Nichols" in 1996 before he signed with Neointernational South label. It never went far on the charts.
Joe Nichols went on to release his first album with his new label in 2002 entitled "Man with a Memory" and it went gold. This album produced a number 1 hit and a grammy nominated for his song "Impossible". This song made it big on the charts and made Joe really become noticed with radio play. The second single on the album was "Brokenheartsville" also topped the charts as well.
Joe Nichols released another album entitled "Revelation" and also a Christmas album called "A Traditional Christmas". Both albums were released in 2004 and peaked at the charts in an ok position. With his album "Revelation", he released one single entitled "What's a Guy Got to do."
Joe Nichols released his fifth album called "III" which did really well by going gold and going to number 2 on the country charts. He released a few singles from the album including "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off", "Size Matters (Someday)", "I'll Wait for You" and "Another Side of You". These singles are topping the charts and still making Joe Nichols famous in the country world.
Joe has been doing it all and is still going strong. Joe Nichols has toured with Tobey Keith on his "Hookin Up and Hangin Out" tour in 2006 and released his Christmas album. Joe is still making it big in the country world and he will keep going for years to come. Joe also toured with Alan Jackson in 2005, which also helped his career soar.
